Belmont House Studios

Belmont House Studio's is a large family house and working artists residence situated in King's Channel behind Waterford Regional Hospital surrounded by two acres of matured walled gardens including an orchard and kitchen garden.

It was the home of Mrs Charmian Hill the owner of the famous racehorse Dawn Run, winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 1986.
Since 1990 Belmont House has been the home of Architect Martin Tritschler & his Artist wife Mary, who have converted stone outbuildings into a gracious home which includes Mary's spacious Studio.

It was in the Waterford region that the Normans landed in 1169 to begin the conquest of Ireland & the area is rich in history with many castles & interesting ruins. Wexford & Kilkenny are within easy reach less than an hours drive. Waterford Regional Hospital is within walking distance.

Visitors may also enjoy a game of golf closeby on the scenic courses of Waterford Castle or Faithlegg House Golf Clubs & visit the beautiful coastal village of Dunmore East with it's many Sea Food Restaurants.
At Belmont House you are assured of a warm welcome, log fires & a healthy breakfast.

Bed and Breakfast Details

The bedrooms are spacious comfort double rooms with bathrooms en-suite.
On arrival in Waterford guests can, if required, be collected at the airport or the train station.
German is spoken.

Each bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, desk, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities.

On request, a single bed can be added to 2 of the bedrooms.
